The merino sheep is the star of the show when it comes down to this luxurious material.
Merino wool can come from multiple locations worldwide. Still, our sheep have been carefully sourced from two places: South America and the South African Cape.
I like to call them "The Merry Merinos" because the farms do not mules their sheep and ensure the best care when removing their fleeces. It's like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders!
As wool is a pure, natural product of the merino sheep, it does require a small amount of care.
With heavy usage, your product can naturally pill, which is NOT a defect. Pills can be gently pulled away or cut off with sharp scissors and smoothed down.
Cleaning is simple too. Spot clean any spillage areas with a cloth and warm water. You can also dry clean your chunky knit occasionally.
